We were thrilled to read wine afficionado Wine Spectator recommending boxed wine in the October 15 issue.
It’s great to see increasing awareness of boxed wine, where “Rising quality and hard-to-beat prices have wine lovers rethinking an overlooked category”.
As a Black Box fan you’ve known for years that boxed wine is made the same way as bottled wine, but packaged without the expense of heavy bottles.
“Boxed wine from California, produced in many popular varietals, can be full flavored alternatives for bargain hunters”

We were quietly thrilled when Real Simple magazine recommended Black Box as a ‘DAILY FIND, BEST BOXED WINE’
Black Box Merlot made the cut as an easy-drinking wine with “… soft, velvety texture typical of light bodied Merlots. Plummy and slightly oaky, it goes well with grilled seafood and roasted chicken”
