2002 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

"A light to medium garnet color, with caramel fruits, cherry, and berry flavors. Good acidity with slight prune flavors, but with an excellent backbone. If this wine were sold in a standard 750-millileter bottle it would cost at least $9 and that would still be a deal. A three-liter box costs $17 to $23 and is the equivalent of four bottles for $5.50 each. Now that is a sweet deal. I found it at Harris Teeter and Total Wine."
