We’re excited to announce our grand prize “You Got Boxed” contest winner! Chris Cline’s video “A Walk in the Clouds” won and was voted a fan favorite! Congratulations on your $10K win!

Big thanks to EVERYONE who entered and took time to “box” their friends with Black Box wines. We hope you had as much fun staging your “trap” and creating your videos as we did watching them.

And please keep the clever ideas rolling to surprise your friends over the holiday season. Cheers all!

October winner walks in the clouds

Congratulations to the entire cast and their fancy outfits for taking “a walk in  the clouds” to win the monthly prize of $2000 for October.

Three self-confessed loose cannons crash an upper-class garden party to show that good wine doesn’t have to come from a bottle.

Congratulations on a really creative entry, and good luck with the dry-cleaner!

Spruce-ing it up!

Thank you to the Foodbuzz bloggers who joined Black Box Wines for a great dinner at Spruce Restaurant in San Francisco last night… quite the unexpected with outstanding food and wine pairings! sprucemenu09

Wine Spectator recommends Black Box!

We were thrilled to read wine afficionado Wine Spectator recommending boxed wine in the October 15 issue.

It’s great to see increasing awareness of boxed wine, where “Rising quality and hard-to-beat prices have wine lovers rethinking an overlooked category”.

As a Black Box fan you’ve known for years that boxed wine is made the same way as bottled wine, but packaged without the expense of heavy bottles.

“Boxed wine from California, produced in many popular varietals, can be full flavored alternatives for bargain hunters”
