Splashy Pool Party
Black Box Pinot Grigio & Salami, Melon and Artichoke Salad
If you’re going to spend all day lounging by the pool with a group of friends, open a chilled 3L box of our Pinot Grigio. It’s the equivalent of 4 bottles of wine, without the glass!
Our Pinot Grigio, featuring aromas of pear and honeydew and juicy flavors of citrus and apples, is pretty awesome with just about anything (seriously). And it’s perfectly paired with a cold salad on a warm day!
Salad ingredients:
1 jar of artichoke hearts
Juice of ½ lemon
1 cantaloupe
7 oz. salami of your choice, casing removed
Dressing ingredients:
3 tbsp. California olive oil
1 tsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp. chopped tarragon
Salt and pepper
Chop the artichoke, salami and melon into bite-sized pieces; add juice of ½ lemon and combine in a large bowl. Place in a plastic container and keep cool.
Whisk together dressing ingredients and place in a small container. When ready to serve, drizzle the dressing over the salad and voila! An easy, fancy salad by the pool.
A Hike at the Beach

A Concert in the Park
Black Box Buttery Chardonnay & Prosciutto and Wrapped Pears with Brie and Balsamic
There’s nothing quite like live music in the park. Spread out your blanket and pour a glass of Buttery Chardonnay for everyone. Don’t forget the non-breakable wine glasses – just like our beautiful black box!
Our Chardonnay features buttery notes of vanilla and toasted oak and aromas of baked apple. It pairs extremely well with prosciutto, pears and cheese.
When the band begins, open your box of Chardonnay and pass the skewers!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 pound prosciutto, thinly sliced
1 round of brie
3 Bosc pears, halved and trimmed
In a small saucepan, add the balsamic vinegar and place it over medium heat. Bring the vinegar to a simmer and then decrease heat to medium-low. Cook for 5-7 minutes, and until the vinegar is a syrupy consistency. Transfer to a small bowl and set aside. Note: balsamic will continue to thicken as it sits.
Slice pears into spears. Add a slice of cheese and wrap them in the prosciutto. Place a skewer in its center. Using a teaspoon, drop small dollops of balsamic glaze on your serving dish. Place the prosciutto skewers atop the balsamic glaze. Then wrap it up and get ready for the music.
